IRC's core service is the preparation, submission and maintenance of a company's rate, rule and form filings. Our staff has had extensive experience in filing both bureau and independent programs. Since we started, our staff has produced more than 10,000 submissions.

The activities associated with IRC's services can best be described as the typical functions that are normally performed by a company's in-house state filing unit. These filing activities include the following:

• Preparation of Filing Letters
• Preparation of all state mandated filing forms
• Assembly of the complete filing package and all copying
• Issuance of state imposed filing fees (as a pass through)
• Postage and handling of original filing and all subsequent correspondence
• Periodic status reports on filing status (at least bi-weekly)
• Liaison between state insurance department and the company
• Preparation and submission of responses as directed by client
• File retention

• Analysis of a competitor's currently filed program

• Editorial work performed on a client's forms to comply with state requirements

• Research and development of responses to insurance department inquiries

The fee structure used by IRC is based on hourly rates dependent upon the level of the IRC staff person performing the particular function.
